| The London Fashion Week will open its doors from 19th – 23rd February 2010 at the marvellous Somerset House. As one of the big four international catwalk influences, it’s time for London to shine and bring all things fashion to the capital. Supported by the British Fashion Council (BFC), London Fashion Week is the event to be at, and contributes £20 million to the London economy and brings visitors from around the world. Creative designers will be showing their work at more than 70 catwalk shows and 20 + other presentations. Labels like Matthew Williamson, Burberry Prorsum, Mark Fast, and not to forget the legendary Vivienne Westwood, are presenting their collections. Shows are not open to public, so if you are not a designer or famous, you can't get in. But never fear, as brands from Jaeger and Betty Jackson to PPQ are live streaming their catwalk shows. Check here for more details: www.londonfashionweek.co.uk/digitalschedule But until Friday 19th anticipation will abound - whose show will be the most extraordinary, and which designer will come up with the most outrageous, and the most wearable creations? Christopher Kane gives this little hint about his new collection, describing it as: sophisticated, nice, modern and a bit twisted. Start getting excited. www.londonfashionweek.co.uk By Christin Radomilovic |
